ACCESS YOUR LIBRARY ACCOUNT & CREATE A LIBRARY PIN
To access your library account, go to the library gateway page and click on “library catalog”.
Then select “View your library record”.
Follow the instructions and enterthe information requested.
EWU- Make sure your student number has only 8 digits (add zeros to the beginning of the number to equal 8 digits).
WSU-Make sure to add a zero to the front of you student number to make the number 9 digits.
If you do not have a library pin (which is different from your EagleNet pin
or your WSU Network ID) you can create one up here.
It should be a word or number you can remember and 4-30 characters in length.
DO YOUR OWN RENEWALS
You can renew your library books on line. Simply follow the instructions for accessing your library account in the above paragraph.
REQUEST AN ITEM
You can request items (primarily books) from other university branches to be sent to the
Riverpoint Campus Library directly from your computer.
When you have located the book you want click on the button “request item”.
Fill out the form on the screen, as described above.
Don’t forget to include which library to send the book to. We are Riverpoint Library.
SUMMIT (ORBIS/CASCADE ALLIANCE)
Can’t find what you want in your Library Catalog? Check out Summit, the Orbis/Cascade Alliance.
It combines the catalogs of over thirty colleges and universities in Washington and Oregon.
To see which libraries have this item click on the link “# Summit libraries have this item”.
Check the column “request status” to ensure that the item is available to be borrowed.
Then click on “request this item” and fill out the form. This works just like Request an item, which is explained above.
IMPORTANT—you MUST search and request items from your Library Catalog before you request items from Summit.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN/ILLIAD
Remember your user name and your password as you will need it to use ILLiad. ILLiad will allow you to track your requests.
